Jim Hofer holds a Master of Science degree in Food Engineering from UM Columbia but spends his days as a Sell-Sword Computer Programmer. He worked for Old El Paso (PET) and Anheuser Busch in the 90’s but spent the last few decades away from food production. His love of engineering and biology peeked an interest in fermentation in 2017 when he began brewing beer and eventually kombucha. Extremely positive feedback at beer festivals on both types of products with constant questions of “where can we buy this” spawned Arch Nemesis Brewing which opened in The District of St. Louis located in Chesterfield earlier this year.
